Your child will play in two games every Saturday from September through October
Come and enjoy the game--Cheer your child on, but please, please refrain from coaching him/her or criticizing other players, the referee, or the coaches.
Every child must play a full half of the game before any other child can play more than a half. This rule ensures that every child has a good experience.
Practices begin in mid-to late August and continue throughout the season. The practices are held in various fields throughout the County. If your player is registered in Granby, Grand Lake or Hot Sulphur Springs, they'll practice in Granby. Similarly, if your registered in Winter Park/Fraser, you'll practice in Fraser. Kremmling players will practice in their respective town. Please register for the town that you would like your child to practice in. If you live in Fraser, but would like your child to practice in Granby, then please register for a Granby team.
Generally, there is one to two practices per week which lasts about an hour. Your player's coach will keep you and your player informed regarding practice time, place and length.
As a reminder to all coaches, only players on your team roster may play in your games. The exception to this is when a team is short of players and either needs to borrow a player from the team that they're playing, or borrow a player from some other team. In any event, the player borrowed must be in the same or younger age group.
All players must play one half a game before any other child on your team plays more than a half. The only exception to this is if there is a disciplinary problem that warrants benching the player.
